M Modern - Palm Springs Friday Jan 4th 08' Museum Show

Hello my tiki freaks, Wildsville man is here to keep you close to the local Tiki culture of Palm Springs. On Jan 4th our great friends at M Modern had a museum show that had plenty of our favorite Tiki Heroes of Art (SHAG, Tim Biskup, Miles Thompson, Heather Watts ) just to name a few.

Sorry they did not have the ever so awesome DEREK YANIGER!!!. This was the private collection of Jay and MeShell, the owners of the gallery. This is the kind of art you would usually see in L.A. or New York only, But For a growing sleepy town like Palm Springs this is one very Cool Sight to see.

The after party was held at Citron at the Viceroy hotel, were only the hippest of hipsters were at. I added some pictures to keep you on your game. But if you can, take a tour for your self. The show will be running till the 28th of Jan.

Jay of M Modern informed Wildsville man that they will be having there 5 year anniversary show on May 10th. This will be all Tiki. Some of the greats will be in attendance and ready to meet and greet with all us fans. I will keep you informed with all the updates.
